Once questions are in a quiz, it's time to think about what you want users to see on their results page, or if you want them to see anything at all.
Select the quiz you wish to configure, use the submenu to go to the Configuration page.
Decide exactly what you'd like the quiz experience to be for your users. Use the hotspots to find out more about each configuration
Calculator: if enabled allows users to pop up a simple online calculator widget in their quiz
Flagging: if enabled allows users to plant flags on questions, these flags appear on the admin dashboard to review.
Shuffle questions: if enabled will shuffle the order of questions in a quiz. Note questions within sections and sections cannot be shuffled at this time
- Practice: answers & feedback are shown immediately after each question is submitted
- Exam: answers & feedback at the end
- Timed Exam: answers & feedback at the end. And the attempt is timed.

Defer results: No answers or feedback or any of the breakdowns will be shown to users. They will get a message that you can customise and a green tick to confirm they have finished their exam on how to release deferred results in this article - Releasing Deferred Results
Immediately show results: Will show the users the questions and feedback, and the pages selected in the results page config.
Results Page: See below for a fully configured results page.
Score = number of correct questions out of the total number of questions. 2 significant figures displayed.
Cohort average = average score for everyone in a cohort which is the same as the portal
Percentile = score performance on the test in comparison to everyone else who has taken. Both the percentile and the cohort average use all attempts made in the last year. (Computed using attempts since March 2021)
Grade = custom grade boundaries set at the exam or quiz level (more on how to set up Grades) will be either pass or fail
Score Distribution (toggles 3 graphs)
1. Score distribution bell curve: which is based on all the attempts for the quiz.
Purple line = that attempt score on this test
Darker blue middle range = an approximation of what 70% of users scored within this range
Light blue (tails) = the cohorts average score on this test
2. Average Score by difficulty = breakdown of the individuals performance vs the cohort (portals) by difficulty facet
3. Average Score by skill = breakdown of the individuals performance vs the cohort (portals) by skill facet
Tag breakdown - Breakdown of the attempt-takers performance across each tagged area in comparison to the cohort in this quiz.

Question breakdown - Detailed feedback for each question such as which were answered incorrectly and what the correct answers were. Long Form / Free Text questions will appear as neutral as they are marked off platform. To make these breakdowns work you will need to have set up the following faceted tags:

Progress - Set of charts to show the users progress over time (minimum 2 attempts) The overall score shown is the individual users, plotted against the results from this particular attempt.Questions will need to be tagged correctly and have the right facets on them for this to work.
If you are creating a static test then the results page configurations set in the Exam menu will over ride what is set in the source test.
